    "Thomas Haines located the following tracts of land: In 1688 adjoinng his
    brother, John Haines; in 1708, 100 acres in Burlington Co., and in 1704,
    a tract of land in Salem Co., NJ. He purchased in 1694, 200 acres of
    Henry Burr, in Burlington Co; in 1703, he purchased a tract in Burlington
    Co. of William Strangton; in 1720, of Benjamin Turner, 625 acres; in
    1720, 600 acres of Samuel Furness."
    Thomas Haines was born in 1665/66 in Aynhoe, Northamptonshire, Eng. He
    was christened on 22 Dec, 1666 at St. Michael's in Aynhoe. He died in
    1753 in Northampton, Burlington, NJ. He was buried on 30 Nov 1753 in
    Burlington Co. NJ.

    He was married to Elizabeth Austin on 8 Nov 1699 at a Monthly meeting
    in Burlington County NJ.
    Thomas was nearly 16 years of age upon his arrival in America. He became
    the owner of much valuable property. In all, about 2400 hundred acres of
    land was purchased between 1688 and 1720.
    Thomas Haines owned the following tracts of land. Adjoining his brother
    John in 1688, 100 acres in Burlington Co. in 1708, a tract of land in
    Salem Co. NJ in 1704, in 1690 he purchased 200 acres from Henry Burr in
    Burlington Co.; purchased a tract in Burlington Co. from William
    Strangton in 1703; in 1720, he purchased 625 acres from Benjamin Turner,
    and in 1720, 600 acres from Samuel Furness.
    His will was dated 1/17/1748, and was probated 8/30/1753. An inventory of
    his personal property, taken Sept. 1, 1753 amounted to Pounds 340:8:10
