Andrew B. Weihrer, 89, retired blacksmith, died yesterday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. David M. Bauer, 1031 Robeson St. He was a son of the late Andrew and Catharine (Bauer) Weihrer, and was employed in the Ninth Street rolling mills of the Reading Iron Company until his retirement in 1925.
Weihrer was a member of the Ninth Street Mills Beneficial Association, St. Paul's Catholic Church and St. Bonifacius Society. His wife, Amelia (eck) preceded him in death.
Surviving are six children: Ella, wife of Adam Hiester, Wernersville; Anna, widow of Frederick Kroener, Reading; Rose, wife of David M. Bauer, in whose home he died; Charles A., of Shilington; Edward, of Reading, and Arthur H. of Uniontown; 26 grandchildren and 25 great-children.
