  [S167] Obituaries, Delta Herlad Times, p. 3, 28 Feb 1913. Barclay S. Griffith, aged 44 years, died Tuesday, February 13th, of tuberculosis at his home at Scarboro. He is survived by a widow and four small children: Alfred, John, Lizzie and Wheeler Griffith, also the following brotheres and sisters: Samuel P. of Emmorton, John A. of Chestnut Hill, Sarah Francis of Baltimore, Wm. J., C. Alfred, Annie Elizabeth, and Mrs. Susan J. Dick. His funeral took place Friday, interment at Dublin M. E. Church, services beign conducted by Rev. H. G. Bennett. Pallbearers were J. S. Carter, B. R. Scarborough, H. S. Huff, C. E. Jackson, Harry Galbreath and W. M. Terrell.
