  In 1683 he located 50 acres of land on the west side of th Assiscunk Creed and built a house. In 1694 he bought a town lot in Burlington, and later moved to Springfield, Burlington Co., NJ, where he bought land from Daniel Leeds in 1698 and from John Harvey and John Day in 1711.
