      Du Pont Planning Coast Honeymoon

Carson City, Nev., Sept 4 - A. Felix Du Pont, prominent member of the wealthy Du Pont clan of Delaware, departed for California today on an "automobile honeymoon" with Ann B. Marvel de Armond, 48-year-old society leader of Wilmington and Rehobeth Beach, Del.

Du Pont was married a few minutes after he had divorced Mary R. Chichester Du Pont, who had been his wife since 1902. He charged extreme cruelty.

District Judge Thomas F. Moran performed the ceremony in Reno, where Du Pont had been residing under the name of Ames while waiting for Nevada's six weeks' pre-divorce period to expire.

Lester Summerfield, Du Pont's attorney, said the bride had been divorced in the East. It was reported that the couple would tour California before going to Wilmington to continue their honeymoon aboard a yacht which Du Pont is having built in Brooklyn, .Y.

Du Pont is a vice president of the E.I. du Pont de Nemours Company, and a cousin of the leading figures in the vast business empire - Pierre S., Irenee and Lammot Du Pont.
