Death Notice On the 6th of February in Camp of the 124th Reg. P.V. near Stafford Court House, Virginia, WILLIAM HENRY WILLIAMSON, son of Maranda and the late William Williamson, in the 18th year of his age. By the death of this amiable and patriotic lad, a widowed Mother has been bereft of the last of three as worthy sons as ever blessed one household, Walsron, the eldest brother, died before the Rebellion broke out, with consumption. Samuel the elder of the remaining two, enlisted in the Fifth Cavalry at the opening of the war, when his noble bearing, soon gained for him a Lieutenancy, but Death loves a shining ,'and the enemy for their aim, a noble officer,and thus he fell, in a skirmish near Williamsburg, Virginia, while nobly fighting for his country, on the same day on which his brother died in the 124th Reg., thus bringing another shock to the already bereaved and stricken widowed mother...
