      Mrs. Wiltbank Wants A Divorce

And She Says A Photograph Was the Cause of All the Trouble

May's Landing, N.J., Dec 22. Mrs. Ella Wiltbank, wife of Peter Wiltbank, the well-known real estate speculator, has commenced suit for divorce for her husband on the grounds of desertion and unfaithfulness. The couple are of highly-respected families and wealthy. Mr. and Mrs. Wiltbank lived in Egg Harbor City, a few miles form this place, and their home was a happy one until a year ago, when the wife frequently saw her husband kissing the photograph of a Mrs. King.

Things went on smotthly for a while, when, finally, he withdrew his support, in March last departed from her and their two children. The suit for divorce was sought in the Camden County Court, and yesterday Vice Chancellor Green heard the testimony in the case. Mr. Wiltbank made no defense. The couple had been married sixteen years. Mrs. Wiltbank id the daughter of Capt. Thomas Maguire of Atlantic City.

The defendant is well-known in New York, Philadelphia and this state as a real estate speculator. He was formerly associated with Florence F. Hogate, the fugitive Camden lawyer, in the scheme to build a race track at Atlantic City.

P.W. Wiltbank shot Himself in the Mouth and Died Instantly - Young Man Ends His Life with Four Bullets. P.W. Wiltbank, a land speculator, committed suicide last night in the office of J.M. Mays & Co. 207 Walnut place, by shooting himself in the mouth. Mr. Wiltbank was 60 years old, married, and resided in South Fifth street, Camden. Serious physical disability, coupled with unfortunate business ventures in Egg Harbor, are the causes assigned for the deed. The identification was brought about by a name found in his clothing, which has been given to him by his brother, H.H. Wiltbank, a stock broker in the Drexel Building and a resident of the Normandie Apartment House. Thirty-sixth and Chestnut streets. The latter went to the Morgue shortly after midnight this morning and made the identification.
