Abraham Overholt of Westmoreland county, Pa., died very suddenly on Saturday morning, the fifth [sic] instant. He arose, as was his invariable custom, at a very early hour, and ate his breakfast in apparent good health. Sometime afterwards, he was missed, and on search being made, he was found in the privy dead. The supposed cause of his death was apolexy. Mr. Overholt was in the 86th year of his age. he was one of the largest property holders in Westmoreland county. His property at Overton was almost equal in extent and value to the kingdom of many a German Prince. And the establishment at Broadford, with the land belonging to it, is almost equally valuable. All of this property, in addition to other wealth, Mr. Overholt acquired by life-long industry and close attention to business. he was a man of sterling honesty, of great foresight and prudence, and was universally respected by all who knew him.

Death date should be the fifteenth, not the fifth.
