Death of Josiah Reynolds, Esq.
Josiah Reynolds, Esq., a well-known master builder of this city, died yesterday morning quite suddenly, having only been taken ill on Sunday morning. Mr. Reynolds was in the 60th year of his age. He was a native of Cecil county, Md., but had resided in Baltimore for the past 34 years. During this period, a portion of the time in connection with Mr. Henry J. Reynolds, the deceased either superintended or erected some of the finest public and private building of the city. At the time of his death he was one of the board of managers of the Maryland Institute. The deceased was a quiet, kind-hearted gentleman, scrupulously correct in all his dealings, and died deeply regretted by all who knew him.
