    When LDS Church President was hiding from federal marshalls in 1887, it was at John W. Woolley's house that he stayed. Taylor instructed Woolley and his son, Lorin C., to perpetuate plural marriage.

    Notes:

    Lorin C. Woolley was part of the Fundamentalist Mormons, his authority in this group passing to J. Leslie Broadbent, and then John Y. Barlow. In 1929, he said that his father had appeared to him in a vision, instructing him to call a Priesthood Council of High Priest Apostles. Named to this Council were J. Leslie Broadbent, John Y. Barlow, Joseph W. Musser, Charles Zitting, LeGrand Woolley, and Louis Alma Kelsch.
