• Quaker Minutes: 15 Oct 1830, Nottingham Monthly Meeitng; A testimony disowning Caleb Reynolds is approved and signed and the committee continued to furnish him with a copy and inform him of his right of appeal.
• Disowned: 17 Nov 1830, Nottingham Monthly Meeting; The service to Caleb Reynolds is reported to be performed and he not inclining to appeal the testimony is as follows: Caleb Reynolds has been treated with for retailing distilled spiritious liquors - but for want of a living in humility and self-denial doe snot appear disposed to maintain our Christian testimony against this great evil, we therefore disown him from membership with us.
