Established in 1815 by Concord Quarterly, this meeting was set off from Concord Monthly (orthodox) and was made up of Birmingham Preparative and West Chester Preparative. Meetings were held alternately at the West Chester and Birmingham meetinghouses even after the Separation. In 1845 a plain stone meetinghouse was built on the Birmingham-Dilworthtown road. In 1874, the meeting purchased a lot from Jesse Garrett to set aside as a burial ground, which along with part of the meetinghouse yard, was enclosed by an iron fence. The meetinghouse was sold in 1938.
