Mrs. Samuel Bobst



Sarah A., wife of Samuel Bobst, died suddenly at 5:15 a.m. today at her home, 450 South Eighteenth street, aged 60 years. Her death was due to dropsy and heart trouble. Mrs. Bobst had been ailing for some time, but was never confined to bed. Shortly before 5 o'clock this morning she awoke and after walking about for a few minutes returned to bed. Her husband tired to arouse his wife at 5:15 and discovered that she had died. Deceased was born in Alsace township but came to this city when a child. Her parents were the late Samuel and Caroline (nee Schildt) Bingaman, She was a member of the Reformed congregation f Spies' Church She leaves her husband and the following children: Gertrude, wife of George Kemp; Sallie, wife of Simon Spangler; Charles; Florence, wife of Frank Quinter, and Kate, wife of Charles Quinter, all of this city; 12 grand and three great-grandchildren and three sisters: Annie, wife of John Bolig; Ida, wife of William Boyer; Rose, wife of Albert Holmes, and Amelia, wife of Harry Bennethum of this city.
